For the Boys EE 2 Mile Run Conor Murphy, a senior from Allentown HS, put up a great effort taking second just behind a meet record winning time. Murphy ran 9:15.40 after Michael Wegner from MD won with a EE meet record of 9:14.04. That was Murphy's best in the 2 mile event by far and a NJ#1 US#15 on the converted list. David Rosas a sophomore from Don Bosco took third with a time of 9:18.93 NJ#4. In the slower heat Aaron Groff of Cherry Hiss East lead for a while after a great move finished second with a time of 9:33.72 NJ#10. ...Full Event Results
In the Girls EE 400m Dash Emilie Cowan, a senior from Columbia HS, out of the un-seeded heat takes second with a photo finish running 56.38! NJ#3 The extra look had Dorriann Coleman of MI taking the win with a 56.374 versus Cowan's 56.377!! Lauren Brzozowski of Ramapo finished 16th with a time of 58.49. ...Full Event Results
Girls EE Shot Put, we all know that the New Jersey girls Shot Put scene has been fantastic all season and it doesn't change here with FIVE girls in the top 15 of the Emerging Elite finals. Nikolia Kanaris of NV Demarest takes second with a 41-08.50. Sarena Dixon of Red Bank Regional takes fifth with a mark of 40-01.25.
