Muniz might get more press time for his high-profile girlfriend, Mary Cain of the Nike Oregon Project, but the Carmel senior has put together a solid resume of his own. He is running ahead of his marks from one year ago, thanks to a runner-up 4:17 Mile finish at the Yale Track Classic. Muniz has also experimented with some shorter events, clocking 1:23.98 600m, 38.77 300m and a 2:33.58 1k at the loaded Armory Track Invitational. He's tried a little bit of everything this year - this weekend will see how the diversification translates to the Mile.
