Grand Blanc, Mich. senior Grant Fisher proved he has not lost much foot speed in the interim between his second Foot Locker National Championship win in December and his indoor track debut this weekend at the GVSU Elite Mile.
He won the inaugural high school race in 4:07.29 as the top three finishers clocked the three fastest times in the country this year.
Behind Fisher, Donovan Brazier is now US #2 at 4:09.32 and Logan Wetzel is US #3 at 4:09.81. On the girls side, Audrey Belf ran US #4 4:54.51 as Rachel DaDamio ran US #5 4:55.06. Belf and DaDamio also rank US #2 and US #3 for the 1,600m distance.
