In his second race of the 2014 cross country season, Summit (OR) senior Matthew Maton was able to pull away from two US top 20 ranked runners in Levi Thomet from Alaska and Zach Alhamra from Colorado at the George Fox Classic with a season best 5K win at 15 minutes flat.
Immediately after each weekend of meets for the rest of this cross country season, MileSplit will be selecting a 14 boys and 14 girls nationally who truly had a BEAST race in their cross country meets over the past.
