The Rock Springs was the only runner in the nation to dip under the 1:50 mark before, but this performance even further extends his lead. The time is a State Record as well as the tenth best time in history. Faure also ran a leg on the victorious Rock Spring 4x800m (7:57.14).
Saturday was another success for Faure who ran a state meet record of 4:14.20 - using a 2:03 last 800 to pull away from the field.
