Poll: Top National Boys Performer from 5/3 Weekend

New Balance Nationals Indoor champion at 60 and 200 meters, Trentavis Friday of Cherryville (NC) has run much faster than his 10.50 victory in the 100 meter dash finals at the Taco Bell Classic last month (pictured above by John Olson) in South Carolina including this past Saturday at his North Carolina 1A West Regional meet in clocking a new PR of 10.33, which is among the top 10 fastest this spring nationally for all conditions. He also rolled a 20.80 in the 200 meter dash in the same regional meet. Friday will be looking to get an even faster and wind legal/verified times at the North Carolina State Meet coming up two weekends from now in Greensboro.
