Video: Luke Winder clears US #2 17'5" in pole vault

Luke Winder, a senior at Plainfield Central High School in Illinois, cleared a US #2 indoor height of 17'5" at the Bolingbrook Fast Times Invitational on Saturday. The new personal best clearance for Winder puts him just outside of the US top 10 all-time list in the event.

Winder had been building towards a performance like this all winter after clearing heights from 16'1" to 16'8" in the first month of indoor competition prior to putting together two consecutive meets with personal bests over 17 feet leading up to Saturday's competition.
