Indoor 2013: Dior Hall US#2 AT 8.17 60H!! Tretez Kinnaird US#1 800m!

CSM Twilight Open, CO

Highlights

• Dior Hall, running unattached, blasted a time of 8.17 in the 60m Hurdles for US#2 All-Time, a mere .01 off of Jacquelyn Cowards 2008 mark of 8.16!!
• Greg Popylisen won the 60m dash with a time of 6.80 and Zainab Sanni won the 60m as well with a time of 7.48.  The time is also .02 better than her winning mark at the NBIN last indoor season.

4A Highlights

• Tyra Lea (Wakefield) won the 300m dash in a US#3 38.76 and the triple jump with a 37-6 leap.  
• Bakri Abushouk (Cary) had a busy day winning the 1600m run in 4:14.56, the 1000m run in 2:32.73 and the 3200m run in 9:25.40.  
• Wakefield girls won the 4x400m relay with a blazing time of 3:53.30.
• Knightdale boys won the 4x400m relay with a time of 3:22.10 and the 4x800m relay with a time of 8:01.07.
• Marquavious Johnson (Knightdale) won the 500m dash with a quick 1:04.48.
• Knightdale won the boys team crown and Wakefield won the girls crown.

Highlights

• Bella Burda (Arlington) rolled in the 300m run as she clocked a US#3 time of 9:33.45.  The time is also a NY Sophomore State Record.

Highlights

• Mainly a college meet, but there was a high schooler in the 800m run, and Tretez Kinnaird (Butler KY) made the most of it, winning with a new US#1 time of 1:51.83!

MITS Meet at Eastern Michigan #2, MI

Grosse Point South after their DMR win at NBIN in 2012.

Highlights

• Grosse Pointe South (MI) girls rocked the track with an impressive performance in the Distance Medley Relay with a US#3 All-Time clocking of 11:37.11!  The squad consisted of Haley Meier (3:33.0 1200m), Kelsie Schwartz (1:01.3 400m), Ersula Farrow (2:14.4 800m) and Hannah Meier (4:48.4 1600m).  The time is also better than the 11:39.29 clocking they set last year at New Balance Indoor Nationals at the Armory to win the DMR there, and we are still a month out from this years championships!

• Reagan Anderson (Tatnall) had a nice double, winning the 800m in 2:18.11 and the 1600m in 5:06.69.
• Maiya Dendy (Padua) won the 400m dash in 57.48.
• Lamar Bruton (Howard Tech) won the 200m dash in 22.58 and the 400m dash in 49.80.

SPIRE HS Showcase, OH

Highlights

• Paige Patterson (Divine Child) won the 200m dash with a time of 24.81 and the 400m dash with a time of 56.15.
• Therese Haiss (Solon) won the 1600m with a time of 4:54.85 and came in 2nd in the 800m with a time of 2:11.28.
• Lauren Burnett (Dakota) won the 800m run with a quick 2:10.06.
• Theodore Foster won the 400m dash with a quick time of 47.85. 
• Nick Elswick (Chardon) led a quick 3200m run with a winning time of 9:06.49.  Kyle Polman (Independence) was 2nd in 9:10.66 and Cory Glines (St. Thomas Aquinas) was 3rd in 9:13.40.
