About Me

My name is Kelly Brown and i run track and cross-country for Bell County High School. I have ran cross-country since the 3rd grade and track since 4th. I am in 8th grade at Right Fork Elementary School. I am a Christian and I go to church at Moss Chapel Baptist. I not only am a runner, I swim in the summer for the Knox County Piranhas and I swim USS swimming for KECOC. I have placed in the Junior Olympics in swimming(5th in 100 backstroke and 8th in 50 breaststroke) which is actually pretty good. I'm also on the academic team at my elementary school and in 2009, I placed 4th in English Composition. I am also on the Science Olympiad team at Right Fork. This past year at region I placed first in Science Crime Busters, and second in Anatomy and Road scholar. Then at state my brother and I placed 2nd in Write It Do It, 4th in Road Scholar and 12th in Anatomy.
My brother, James Brown is also a runner and participates in the same activities as me.
If anyone is curious about my recent running and why i am getting worse, i pulled my I.T band last cross-country season. My knee is always flaring up and swelling terrible.
