I am a former coach and athlete.

I ran 25:27 for 8K at age 40 and pretty much stopped after that. my career was always one of being injured half the time and then running great until the next injury. At 40 getting injured came more often than running fast.
I have coached 6 state championship teams (5 CC and one track) and numerous individual state champions as well as a lot of great people and athletes. I probably can't count the number of all state performers I have been privileged to work with! I am blessed to have many of these same people still want to maintain contact with an old man.
