I had an interesting workout today. It was about 30 and snowing, with a thin layer of snow coating the ground which made it a bit like a skating rink out there. Fortunately, the hill itself wasn't too slick to run on, and I felt like I had a pretty good hill workout, but it was particularly slippery on the way back, and I actually fell. This is very rare for me. Despite living in this very cold, icy place, I rarely have fallen. I'm not sure if I fell even one time last year. If this says something: I intended for my last .75 to be at tempo pace at least, and it ended up being 8:30 pace even though I felt good. It was very slow-going. Considering everything though, it really was a good run..
