Meet Information

High School and Middle School Club Entry Fees: $75 per gender varsity team or $15 per individual. You will get to enter a maximum of 10 runners in the varsity race. Preferably make the check out to the "Marianna Cross Country Club" but if that is a problem with your financial officer then make it out to Marianna High School Cross Country.

The Athletic Dept. has taken over the parking in both parking lots (next to the stadium and high school parking lot). They will be charging $5 per vehicle to use these parking lots. The Deputies will not allow parking on the shoulder of the road for safety reasons. Please advise your parents of this.
Buses and school vans with runners will park free at the school (drop off of the runners at the stadium and then park over at the school, shuttle will be available to drop off drivers at the stadium. The race is at the MERE complex is 3625 Caverns Rd, Marianna. The school's address for the bus parking is 3546 Caverns Rd, Marianna.

The course is now completely in the MERE park. It is still a very fast course with the 1 mile and 2 mile within 100 ft of each other. You can go to http://www.usatf.org/routes/view.asp?rID=552407 to see it.

There will be a coaches bus at the starting line to take the coaches to the 1&2 mile markers and then take them back to the stadium entry for the finish.

All buses must park in the high school parking lot after drop off at the stadium. No one will park in the grass field west of the stadium since this has become part of the course.

Open Race Entry Fees: $5 per runner. MAKE THIS CHECK OUT TO: The Marianna Cross Country Club

Everyone who runs in MS Open 2 mile race has to pay and fill out a waiver form. Wavier forms can be downloaded or picked up at the home side concession stand. Every runner will get a race #.

Registration: All teams must register online at www.flrunners.com. Deadline for registering on www.flrunners.com is Sept 27th. Packet pick up is at the home side concession stand.

Team Awards: Trophies to first through third in High School, boys and girls. First place trophies to each club gender team in the open 2 mile race.

Individual Awards: Medals to the top fifteen in each varsity High School race, and ribbons to 16th through 30th . Ribbons to the top ten males and females in each open race.

All Panhandle Team: The All Panhandle Team will be named at the awards ceremony. Each of the top eight boys and girls will receive a plaque and a team photo will be emailed to them. Team members please leave an email address after the ceremony.

8:00 High School Boys 5K race

8:30 High School Girls 5K race

9:15 Open 5K (for high school jv and community runners)

10:00 2 mile race (boys and girls middle school age only, each runner must fill out a waiver form and have a race #)

10:45 Awards Ceremony

Timing: Coaches please have a staff or team member near the finish line to help any of your runners that go down in the chute.
