Saturday November 28th was supposed to be a smooth transition of cross country to the heads of state in track & field... little did we know, it was quite a long morning stretched into the afternoon that felt like a marathon of coverage amid cold climes that featured wind, snow flurries, and other nasty elements associated with late November cross country weather. Two of the pre-meet favorites did not disappoint the seeded race form charts... nor did the wintry weather at the National Cross Country course near the University of Wisconsin-Parkside campus. Getting the all expense paid trip to San Diego for the national championship went according to plan for the majority of the players.

The weather is supposed is supposed to be... umm, late fall, early winter climes are expected to be normal with the University of Wisconsin-Parkside National Course to be saturated from recent snow and rain. The expected high should reach 40 degrees by game time.
