All season long, Mackenzie Haight of George C. Marshall had to take defeat after defeat at the hands of Louis Colson. A total of 9 races to be exact that Haight raced against the state's best high school cross country runner this fall in Colson and every time Haight was denied victory. Haight might not have enjoyed as many victories as he would have liked this season despite competing a consistently high level and running great times all season long with Colson in his way, but will get to experience and enjoy something that many other runners in the state who may have had more wins this season wish and envy that they could be part of on Saturday.

First you get some turkey. Then you scoop on some potatoes, both mashed and sweet. Find those green beans and make some room on your plate for the stuffing. For good measure, dump cranberry sauce and gravy over everything. Be sure to save room for the pumpkin and pecan pies, topped with a dollop of whip cream, of course. Add it all together, and you’ve got yourself a Thanksgiving meal. (via Runner's World)
