I have duplicate entries for the same athlete on my team roster... what do I do?
First, what you should not do. Do not simply delete one of the records. This removes the duplicate athlete from your roster list, but does not delete them from the system. The athlete will still have two profiles and potentially have half of their performances in one and half in the other.
What you should do is email the webmaster of your state site. Inform them about the duplicates and they will merge the two athlete records into one for you. This is a potentially dangerous thing to do for data record keeping reasons if done wrong... for this reason only the webmaster is allowed to do this.
How can I add more performances to my team?
If you are not yet a team admin...
Go to your team's page and click the "Claim This Team" button on the right. It will guide
you through the process of becoming a team admin. You will have to be approved first by
the webmaster.
If you are already a team admin...
- Go to your team's page and log into team admin section by clicking the "Team Manager" button on the right.
- Click on Schedule/Results on the left.
- By any meet in the past on your schedule (meaning the meet has to be on your schedule first) you'll see an "Add Results" link by it.
- Click this and it will list any performances already in the database for that team in that meet.
- At the bottom of that page is a form where you can select an athlete from your roster, event, enter the time, etc.
- Click Add Performance and it is there.... goes on the athlete profile, team records (if a record), the team's results
Note: You can add a meet for any year, so official results are not necessary in order to add an individual performance. You can do this for dual meets or invitationals. Each performance entered in this way will be marked with an "Un" for unverified. When the official results are entered, and the mark is added to the rankings by the webmaster in your state, the "Un" will disappear.
How do I tag photos?
If you are not yet a team admin or coach...

If you are already a team admin or coach...
1. Pull up the photo page.Pull up an individual photo in a photo album posted on the site. If you are logged in as a team admin or coach you will see a "Tag This Photo" link below the list of tags. Click it. |
2. Tag the athletes.A window appears over the photo listing your teams and athletes. Put a check by whatever you want to tag and then click the save button. |
3. See the fruits of your labor.The athletes and/or teams you tagged on the photo now show up in the list of tags. The photos will now appear on the pages of the team or athlete where appropriate: slideshow, photos page, news feed, etc. |
