There's no doubt that there's a lot of talent in the freshman boys class.

Some athletes, however, have been racing far beyond their years, producing times that stack up even against their veteran teammates.

Check out the top 100 freshman boys sprinters in the country in the slideshow.

  • South Grand Prairie (TX) High's Jalon Williams is one of just three boys with a wind-legal mark under 11 seconds, scoring a 10.89 (+1.3) second time at the Texas Relays
  • Foster (TX) High's Cody Jackson is one of 17 boys under 23 seconds in the 200, with a US No. 1 freshman time of 22.28 (-0.6) seconds
  • Osceola (FL) High's Markevus Jackson is one of six boys under 50 seconds in the 400. He has run a time of 49.22 seconds

Reminder: The 100-200-400 lists are based on current 2018 outdoor times, so if an athlete hasn't run yet, they won't be on this list.
