Over the last four years, a massive amount of star power has performed well at New Balance Nationals Outdoor.

Champion Allison and Noah Lyles swept the 100-200 in 2016 and 2015, respectively. Josephus Lyles scored victories in the 400m in back-to-back years in 2014 and 2015. Tyrese Cooper, after winning in 45.69 seconds last year, has a chance to do the same here.

Trayvon Bromell was a winner in the 100m in 2013. This year's outdoor NCAA Champion and all-time record holder Christian Coleman was second in the 100 in 2014.

In the girls field, Sydney McLaughlin has swept the 400m hurdles in three straight years, while Candace Hill recorded a 100-200 double in 2014.

Athletes like Kaylor Harris, Twanisha Terry and Lynna Irby all have a chance to earn back-to-back championships in 2016.
