As of today, there are five Colorado athletes slated to step to the line at the Brooks PR meet in Seattle on February 24. Photos by Alan Versaw and Paul Jaeger.

The meet is rapidly becoming one of the marquee events of the indoor season. Three weeks from today, a top-tier field of athletes will compete for national honors at the Dempsey Arena in Seattle, Washington.

And Colorado figures to be very well represented.

Heather Bates will be taking on the mile, while Jordyn Colter goes longer, staring down the two mile.

Dior Hall, of course, will join the 60 hurdles field. Not only does she join the field, but she goes to Seattle in three weeks seeking to defend her hurdle title from last year's meet.

And, as of this moment, it will be MaryBeth Sant and Chyna Ries in the 60 meter dash field. Sant hopes to move up a few slots from last year's 7th-place finish. Indoor results from the season to date would suggest there's a good chance of that happening.

All figure to be very competitive. And, with five entries, Colorado ranks near the very top in entries, despite being neither a warm weather state nor a state with a state association sanctioned indoor season. It figures to be a great day of racing for the Centennial State!
