Jimmy Carnes Youth Invite, FL

Highlights

  • Shayla Sanders (Boyd Anderson) runs a US #1 in the 55 Meter Dash with a 6.85. Kali Davis-White is closed behind with a US #3 6.96. (national rankings).  Shayla then blasted a 23.89 for 200 meters to put her at US#1 and the first in the nation under 24 seconds.
  • Marvin Bracy blows the doors off with a NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL RECORD 6.08 in the 55 Meters, which is well within professional territory. Bracy is setting up hopes of qualifying for the US Olympic Team as a high schooler this year, something rarely even contemplated.  The time is also reportedly the fastest in the world over 55 meters this indoor season. (national rankings)
  • Arman Hall won the boys 400m dash with a quick 48.81 and the 200m dash with a time of 21.62.
  • Foot Locker finalist Grace Tinkey (GA) won the girls 3000 meter run in her first race of the indoor season with a time of 10:04.19.

  • Foot Locker Finalist Catarina Rocha (Peabody) won the girls Mile with a meet record clocking of 4:53.89.
  • Brendan Robertson (Westborough) also set a meet record in the boys Mile with a time of 4:17.17.
  • Dan Duquette (North Attleboro) won the boys 600m dash with a time of 1:22.80.
  • Kevin Thomas (Marshfield) won the boys 2 mile with a time of 9:22.21.
  • Rebecca Robinson (Arlington) won the girls 300m dash with a time of 39.92.

 

USATF US Indoor Open, NY

  • Samantha Nadel (North Shore NY) won the girls Mile in an impressive 4:47.66 on the tight oval with a 800 split of 2:24.9.
  • Zavon Watkins (Liverpool NY) won the boys Mile with a solid 4:19.86 clocking.  
  • Ajee Wilson (Neptune NJ) was 2nd in the Pro 800 meter run with a time of 2:09.09.  
  • Kellenberg (NY) won the boys 4x800 with a time of 8:07.40.

 

Virginia Tech HS Invitational, VA

Wakefield (NC) blazed to US#1 times over the 800 relay and the 1600 relay.

  • Foot Locker Finalist Ahmed Bile (Annandale VA) torched the track in the 1000 meter run with his US#1 2:26.36 clocking for US#14 All-Time.  
  • Megan Moye (Cosby VA) won the girls 1000 meter run with a US#3 time of 2:49.76, which also set a new meet record.
  • Nick Link (Blacksburg VA) won the boys 3200 meter run with a US#1 9:18.03 with Paul Gates (Woodson) in 2nd with a US#2 time of 9:19.16.
  • Cosby (VA) won the girls 4x800 relay with a time of 9:19.10.
  • Wakefield (NC) girls won the 4x200 relay with a quick US#1 time of 1:38.35 and also won the 4x400 relay with a US#1 time of 3:46.58.
  • Suitland (MD) rolled to a US#1 in the boys 4x200 relay with a blazing 1:28.24.
  • Ariah Graham (Wakefield NC) won the girls 300 meter dash with a US#2 time of 38.83.
  • Champ Page (Henry A. Wise MD) won the boys 300 meter dash with a US#2 time of 33.93.

  • Audrey Batzel (Ocean Lakes VA) rolled in the 3200m to a US#1 clocking of 10:39.96.
  • Adam Visokay (Albermarle VA) won the boys 3200 meter run with a time of 9:21.53.

 

University of Washington Invitational, WA

  • Tatum Taylor rolled to a US#1 clocking in the 60m dash with a time of 6.79.
  • Maddie Meyers placed 5th overall against collegians in the 3000 meter run and clocked an impressive 10:02.

 

NYC Mayors Cup Indoor Championships, NY

Highlights

  • Harry S. Truman topped Sheepshead Bay in a thrilling 4x200 race 1:30.24 to 1:30.86.
  • Laray Smith (Xaverian) won the boys 300m dash with a time of 34.68.
  • Kimberly Bailey (Taft) won the girls 300m dash with a time of 39.83.
  • Alexis Panisse (Benjamin Cardozo) won the girls 1000 meter run with a time of 2:54.37.
  • Benjamin Cardozo (NY) ran a time of 1:43.76 in qualifying of the 4x200 but did not compete in the final.
  • Robert Rhodes (Boys and Girls NY) ran a US#2 clocking over 600 meters of 1:20.70.

 

KTC HS Indoor Classic, TN

  • Kendell Williams (GA) took flight to a 19-06 for US#4 in the long jump and also won the 60m Hurdles with a time of 8.57.
  • Torie Owers (Athens Academy) won the shot put with a heave of 50-2 for US#1!
  • Jada Martin sped to a US#1 in the 200 meter dash finals with a time of 24.15.
  • Chelsea Caldwell won the girls 400m dash with a time of 56.18.
  • Rhavean King won the girls 800m run with a quick 2:13.79, nearly 10 seconds clear from the field!
  • Andre Ivankovic won the boys 3000 meter run with a time of 8:49.98.
  • Austin Eckenroth won the boys pole vault with a leap of 15-5.

 

Jackson Invite-New Balance West, ID

Highlights

  • Sarah Cline (CA) smoked the 200 meters with a time of 24.52, a meet record performance, with Bealoved Brown (TX) going 24.61 for 2nd and also getting under the record.
  • Katie Knight (WA) won the girls One Mile Run with a meet record time of 5:04.52, 8 seconds under the old mark and also won the 800 meter run with a time of 2:17.91.
  • Dallin Farnsworth (ID) won the boys Mile with a quick 4:20.19, 7 seconds under the old meet record and completed an impressive double by winning the 2 mile run with a time of 9:17.99.
  • John Patrone won the boys 60 meter dash with a meet record mark of 7.01.
  • Ashley Cunningham (TX) led 4 others under the meet record in the 60 meter dash with a winning time of 7.66.

Highlights

  • Pascack Valley (NJ) won the SMR with a US#1 time of 3:29.9.
  • Hackensack (NJ) won the boys 4x400 with an impressive 3:24.70 and also took the 4x200 with a time of 1:30.70.
