OHSAA Regional Cross Country Meet - Troy

In the girls race, the ladies from Beavercreek (OH) showed once again that they have the potential to not only be one of the top teams in Ohio but one of the top teams in the nation. The MileSplit50 No. 10-ranked Beavercreek beat out Lakota East and MileSplit50 No. 15-ranked Centerville. The battle between the top three teams came down to 11 points. The Beavers were led by junior sensation, MileSplit50 No. 8-ranked Taylor Ewert who took home the commanding individual title running 17:11.42

In the boys race, Middletown's (OH) Conant Smith took home a commanding individual win running 15:23.09 beating second place by more than 20 seconds. Another impressive performance came from the Mason (OH) guys who took home the D1 Boys team title and are looking like a possible NXR Midwest title-contending team. We will be keeping an eye on this team at the OHSAA Ohio State Cross Country Championship next weekend.
