May Siblings May Be The Best In State

Parry McCluer has quite the storyline this season. They have strong chances of winning both the boys and girls team titles (rank second) and also could sweep the individual titles. The kicker, both teams are led by brother and sister Dylan May and Kensey May

Dylan is not new to the scene as much as little sister Kensey is. Dylan was the 1A XC runner-up last year at states while Kensey is only a freshman this year. Both have had quite the season though winning multiple times and now ranking second (Dylan) and first (Kensey) amongst their 1A counterparts.

Over the past few years even we have seen quite a number of great sibling duos at the state meet. None have even won at the same state meet to our knowledge though. This could be the year that this changes.

Dylan is the top returner in the guys division but will have stiff competition from Jordan Keith who finished 3rd in 2017. His position will also count for double as PM is in a tight battle with Auburn for the guys' title.

Over on the girls' side of things though it is all Kensey May who leads the state with her 18:44 performance at MileStat XC. She too though has to try and chase down Auburn as a team who are favored by just three points currently in our virtual meet

If they were to both win individually and as a team you could make a serious argument that they are one of the most impressive sibling duos our state has ever seen. It will certainly be exciting to see what they have in store come the state meet.
