The Region 2 2A - 6A meet has not been delayed, but the site has been modified.
The original course has been deemed unfit to hold races due to the rain at the park. Plans have changed to have the meet held at the Jesse Owens Memorial Complex at 9191 South Polk St., Dallas, TX 75232.
According to UTA head track and field coach John Sauerhage and the UTA website, heavy rains and flooding are the cause of the relocation.

The conditions of Jesse Owens Memorial Complex were also affected by rain as well, so all past course maps from previous races held at this facility may be inaccurate and obsolete. Course maps will become available in recent days.
Course inspections and walk throughs will not be allowed on Sunday. No one will be allowed on the course until Monday morning from 6-9:30 a.m.
