National HS Heptathlon Record Holder Anna Hall Picks Georgia

Valor Christian (CO) High School senior Anna Hall has decided to join "Multis U."

The Colorado prep and one of the best recruits in the country announced her commitment to the University of Georgia on Tuesday, pledging to join a program that landed the top two multis recruits in the nation for the Class of 2018 as well: Kyle Garland and Sterling Lester

Hall also took visits to the University of Southern California, Florida and Duke.

But Hall is a certainly coup for the Bulldogs and head coach Petros Kyprianou, who developed multiple NCAA-title winner and Olympian Kendall Williams.

The Colorado native scored a national record in the heptathlon last spring at the Great Southwest Classic, scoring a groundbreaking 5,798 points, and then went on to finish first at the USA Junior Championships, thereby qualifying for the U20 World Championships, where she finished ninth.

Hall is an elite-level athlete in the long hurdles and as a high jumper and has shown immense potential in the 100mH, 200m, 800m and long jump. She's the top returning athlete in the country in the 300mH and is tied for second in the high jump.

Last spring she won state titles in the 100mH, 300mH and the long jump. Over the indoor season, she won a New Balance Nationals Indoor title in the high jump (5-8.75).
