Analysis: Devin Hart is on the verge of being one of the all-time greats to come out of the state of New Jersey. There's been talk of Hart possibly running under 15:20 on the Holmdel Park course, which only six guys have ever done. Last year on that course he ran 15:34.00 which already stands as one of the top 20 best performances. Hart has the ability to be one of the best in the nation not just in New Jersey, and we got a glimpse of that in 2017. Hart finished 6th at Foot Locker Northeast his junior year and went on to place 10th at Foot Locker Nationals.
His biggest performance of the spring was after running 8:53.36 to finish fourth in the 2-mile at the Brooks PR Invitational in Seattle, Washington he turned around the next day and ran 8:58.58 in the 3200m at the NJSIAA State Meet Of Champions in Columbus, New Jersey.
