This weekend may be seen as the weekend to have all eyes aimed at North Carolina and Auggie Stadium for the 2018 New Balance Nationals, but you should really focus your attention just about two hours south of Indy, to Bloomington. The 2018 USATF Junior Outdoor Championships are taking place at the Hayes Track, the same place where the IHSAA State Meet is held each year. This is an uncommon year, as this meet is usually held somewhere on the west coast, but this year it is being held right here in Indiana.

This is a unique opportunity for all of the Midwest kids that have always wanted to compete at the meet but couldn't due to the cost to travel all the way out there. We will also get the chance to see most of the nations best compete. Some of those best will also include a handful of Indiana athletes.
