Mondo Duplantis Is As Fast As He Looks
World class pole vaulter Mondo Duplantis, who recently had his world junior record in the pole vault ratified from the indoor season, is as fast you always thought he was.
The Lafayette (LA) High senior won his regional 100m championship in 10.57 (+2.1) on Friday as all eight runners in the final produced times under 11 seconds.
For good measure, Duplantis also vaulted 15-feet to cruise to his fourth straight regional win in the pole vault. And Duplantis' younger sister, Johanna, won the girls pole vault with a clearance of 11-feet.
