The Scoop: Marlee Starliper Turns In Star Performance In Pa. And Much More

Pennsylvania's indoor state championships provided an intense amount of national level performances -- as per usual.

One under the radar performance, perhaps, was Neshaminy's Rusty Kujdych, who went a new US No. 1 time of 8:30.88 in the 3000m, besting his previous best by six seconds.

Dock Mennonite's Austin Kratz, the state leader in the 200m, went just 0.05 off his career best in a winning time of 21.09 seconds.

Girard College's Thelma Davies, a powerhouse sprinter, doubled in the 60m (7.37) and 200m (23.98).

State College's Esther Seeland won a remarkable race in the 800m, edging out favorite Gabrielle Wilkinson at the line for a win in 2:08.71, a season-best by five seconds and a new US No. 2 mark. Perkiomen Valley's Christina Warren became the only Pennsylvanian to break 40-feet in the triple jump, going a US No. 5 mark of 40-10.75.

Saint Joseph's Preps Miles Green won the 400m in 47.93, good for a US No. 6 time. North Allegheny's Ayden Owens, who already owns a US No. 2 mark in the 60mH, consistently hit another US No. 2 worthy time of 7.74.
