Why: Arria Minor, who runs for Denver Lightning, currently has nation-leading marks in both the 60m dash and the 200m dash. Minor has run 7.30 for US No.1 in the 60 at the Nite Moves Kickoff in early January, and 23.43 for US No. 1 in the 200m dash at the Air Force High School Indoor Open just last weekend.

This weekend she is set to compete in the 60m and 200m dash races and take her first shot at the 400m this year. She holds an indoor 400m PR of 55.64 from the 2017 Tony Wells Memorial Indoor Invitational.

Minor is not the only athlete on her club team who's been making a statement this indoor season. Dajaz Defrand, who's entered in the 60m and 200m, has run a US No. 43 time of 7.68 in the 60m dash, and US No. 14  time of 24.52 in the 200m. Then there is Kyairra Reigh who's one of the top 400m dash athletes in the nation. Last week at the Air Force High School Indoor Open she ran 55.61 for US No. 9. Reigh also has a solid 200m PR of 24.86 from the USATF-Colorado State Indoor Championships. That mark has her ranked US No. 37.

With the three ladies mentioned above, Denver Lightning has the top three seed times in the 200m dash. In short, if there's an athlete from Denver Lightning entered in the event you will want to keep your eyes on it, because a fast time is sure to follow.
