Dustin Horter Places 13th At The Great Edinburgh International XC Challenge

Dustin Horter, shown here earlier in the season, finished 13th in the 6K race in 20:11.

Congratulations to Dustin Horter on his impressive showing at today's Great Edinburgh International Cross Country Challenge in Scotland!  Horter recorded a time of 20:11 to finish 13th overall against an exceptionally talented field in the junior men's 6K race.

The Americans placed 3rd in the team standings with 32 points and they were led by Illinois' Danny Kilrea, who claimed the 4th position with his strong 19:24 effort on the Holyrood Park course in Edinburgh.

Horter finally closes a long cross country season which saw the Lakota East senior secure many wins, including the DI Ohio State Championship and the Nike Cross Nationals Midwest Regional meet.  The reigning 1600m DI Indoor State Champion will be a force at whatever meets he decides to compete at in 2018.  More information regarding his indoor racing schedule will be shared once it becomes available.
