Mikey Brannigan wins the legendary 2015 Loucks Games 3200M with an eye-popping time of 8:42.92.

Former Northport (NY) distance standout Mikey Brannigan was just named Team USA's Male Paralympic Athlete of the Year.

After winning a Paralympic gold medal in the 1500M run in Rio last year, Brannigan proceeded to win three medals at this summer's world championships in London: gold in the 800M and 1500M runs, and silver in the 5000M run.

In high school, Brannigan ran a blistering 8:42.92 for the 3200M, was a New Balance Nationals Outdoor champion in the 2-mile, and qualified to NXN as an individual after winning NXR New York in 2013.
