Morgan Gigandet will compete at the Nike Cross Nationals on December 2nd.
Ohio's Morgan Gigandet secured one of the automatic qualifying spots to next month's Nike Cross Nationals in Oregon due to her 6th place effort at last weekend's NXN Midwest Regional meet. Gigandet posted a stellar finishing time of 17:46.90 on the challenging Lavern Gibson Championship Cross Country Course in Terre Haute.
It has been quite a few weeks for Gigandet, as the previous weekend she won the DI OHSAA Ohio State Championship at the National Trail Raceway in Hebron. Gigandet, who is ranked #1 in the state and 17th nationally, will join Ohio athletes Gracie Sprankle and Taylor Ewert at NXN.
