Camila Noe and the Bozeman girls cross country team had a big day on Saturday.
Noe, the Hawks' No. 1 runner and last year's runner-up, went head-to-head with No. 19 ranked Tiahna Vladic of Billings -- who won a year ago -- and came away with a big victory in the Class AA girls race in a winning time of 17:28.00.
The effort was undoubtedly her best of the season, marking an 11-second improvement from her previous PB. But along with her individual win, the Bozeman girls once again claimed a state title, scoring a dominating 36 points against Hellgate (64) and Billings (75).
Vladic was second overall in a time of 18:05.80.
Bozeman put together an 18:43 average and clocked its top five in the first 11 and top seven in the top 15 places overall. Glacier High junior Annie Hill was third overall in 18:09.50.
In the boys Class AA race, Bozeman doubled yet again, scoring 41 points for its second straight state championship. Duncan Hamilton led the Hawks with a runner-up performance in 15:47.70.
CM Russell senior Cooper West won in 15:31.80.
