Loudoun Valley Boys Crush Oatlands Invitational

The No. 1-ranked Loudoun Valley (Virginia) boys crushed the Oatlands Invitational on Saturday, scoring 46 points. The Vikings' top six runners were in the top 25 spots, led by Flo50 No. 17 Sam Affolder, who ran 15:43.00 to take the win. 

Finishing second was Flo50 No. 22-ranked Price Owens from Grafton High School, who ran 15:59.00. Rounding out the top three was Loudoun Valley's Peter Morris, who ran 16:01.00. 

Flo50 No. 9 Green Hope (North Carolina) finished second to Loudoun Valley with 117 points. The team's top five placed fifth, 22nd, 29th, 30th, and 31st (38+64), running a 0:58 1-5 split for an average time of 16:57

The Loudoun Valley girls also took home the win in the varsity A race by scoring 104 points; they were led by senior Natalie Morris, who finished fourth.
