The National Scholastic Athletics Foundation has extended the deadline for a grant available for cross country programs recently impacted by Hurricane Harvey and Hurricane Irma.
You can apply for the grant here. The deadline to apply for the grant is September 30.
The grants can help with purchasing equipment, facility repair, restoration, and much more. According to the NSAF, an average of 12-18 grants are awarded each year with an average range of $700 and may be used for any purpose with the winner's track and field program.
The grants are awarded annually and named after the late Cedric Walker and Tony Wells, two of the country's legendary club coaches.
