The First Two Days At NBNO Were A Lone Star Show


The hurdles have been one of the strongest events in the state of Texas. That is why it should be no surprise the damage that ERIC EDWARDS and CHARLES BROCKMAN III. The Texas duo are two of the top two way hurdlers in the nation. At NBNO, they showed exactly how good Texas is by going 2-3 with the nation's best hurdlers. In what has been a long season for both guys, words like good or great don't scratch the surface when it comes to adjectives if you leave out the main one...consistent!



In the 3200m, El Paso's DANIEL BERNAL was at the top of the class of the competition at NBNO. Bernal won the race in 9:17. That's a very good time unless you're Daniel Bernal. He had an easy run taking the victory in over 20 seconds slower than his personal best 8:54.21. Having battled the nation's best all year for cross country and track in the state of Texas, Bernal showed on the track what Texas showed on the courses in cross country season, that Texas can't be touched!
