What are all your personal records?
100m dash 12.99
100m hurdles 15.75
200m dash 25.98
300m hurdles 45.44
400m hurdles 1:07

How did you get started as a track or cross country athlete?
I have always liked to run, but my mother was my biggest influence. Ever since I could remember I have always wanted to beat her 300m hurdle record.

What was your most memorable competition?
My most memorable competition was this year when my high school coaches finally submitted my times for the Elite Track Meet at Hamline University. I was able to compete in the 300m hurdles which was very exciting, since I was the only Class A hurdler to compete.

Who were your biggest competitors in your track career?
I have always enjoyed competing against Rycheil Gjovi of Litchfield and Kamryn D'Heilly of Annadale in both the 100m dash and 200m dash, as well as my teammate Ailsa Gilbert in the 100m hurdles.

What was your greatest accomplishment as a track athlete?
I recently broke the Wright County West Conference record, the Section 5A record and my great accomplishment was breaking the All-Wright County Conference record which had stood for 24 years, and had been held by my mother, Tonya Paulson of Waconia.

If you could do it all over again what would you change about your track high schoolcareer?
I would have trained and worked harder.

How have your coaches been an influence to you as an athlete and a person?
I have had the pleasure of having great coaches in my high school career. Coach Kim Davis has been the best... she has pushed me, challenged me and has always been there to cheer me on. Coach Ernest, Coach Janikula, Coach Winter and Coach Jensen have also been there to help me along the way.

What were the most difficult obstacles you had to overcome?
At the start of my Junior volleyball season, I broke my back in 2 places and was in a full back brace for three and a half months. I finally got it off 1 week before my Junior track season started and I was able to work hard and placed 2nd in Class A 300m hurdles .

What are your post-graduation plans?
I'm attending Indian Hills in Iowa which is a Division 1 NJCAA school and will be a member of the Track and Field Team.

Who would you like to say 'thank you' to?
I would like to say thank you to my family, friends, teammates and coaches - thanks for supporting and cheering me on through my high school career. Bring on college!
