For the 13-14 age group Victoria Swepson (Triangle Champions) and Caroline Murrell (Circle City Stars) both ran very impressive 1500s with Swepson winning in 4:55.39 and Murrell taking 2nd in 5:05.52. These marks convert to a 5:17.1 and 5:27.98 1600s respectively, which is very quick for middle schoolers! Swepson and Murrell's marks were faster than the 15-16 & 17-18 age groups run after them!
Also in the 9-10 girls 1500 we saw 5:22s from Caroline Barton (Greensboro Pacesetters) and Lily Alder (Franklin Elite) who dominated the field! Pretty strong performances from 3rd and 4th graders!
