Recruiting Minute: Top Hurdler Damion Thomas Names Top Four Schools

Damion Thomas recently took to Twitter to reveal his top four schools as well as some pictures from his official visits. The senior at Northeast High School in Florida owns the second-fastest wind-legal 110m hurdle PR (13.42) in the Class of 2017 and is the Jamaican junior national champion in the event. Thomas also holds the world record for 14-year-olds (14.05) and 15-year-olds (13.64).

He was undefeated this season through the prelims at the IAAF World U20 Championships, but unfortunately stumbled over a hurdle in the semi-final and did not advance to the final.

Thomas talks in the video below after winning his preliminary round at the 2016 IAAF World U20 Championships.

Watch the video below to see Thomas win the 2015 Brook PR with a time of 13.62. The mark would have set a new national sophomore class record, but it was slightly wind-aided (+3.5).
