Amuru Patterson Looking Forward To Adidas Dream 100 Experience

Of the three Florida girls entered in the Dream 100 at the Adidas Boost Boston Games, only Haines City junior Amuru Patterson has won a head to head battle. Patterson, the 4A state champion in the 100 and 200 meter dash beat both 7th grader Tamari Davis and 2A  100/200m state champion Katia Seymour at Flo Golden South.

Instead of taking the auto qualifier and golden ticket to Brooks PR Invitational in Seattle, Patterson who owns personal bests of 11.57 and 23.85 decided to head to Boston for the Adidas Boost Boston Games and compete in the Dream 100.

We caught up with the standout sprinter at the Star Athletics Sprint Series in Clermont, FL where she was on hand to watch former Dream standouts turned pros Kaylin Whitney &  Candace Hill and talked about her training leading up to Saturday and what she's looking forward to the most.
