On Sunday at the 2015 New Balance National Indoor Championships, the boy's 400 meter race provided the drama that makes track and field one of the most exciting sports to watch! A fast race, a come from behind win, a DQ, a major collision and an awesome race call by the announcers. If you haven't seen the race, here it is in all its glory. (1:03 to 1:33 is the best, with the replay coming from 2:15-2:45)

Check out the slow-mo version on Instagram!

The collision and race call is blowing up all over the web, including ESPN. ESPN featured the video on their website ( http://espn.go.com/video/clip?id=12510243&ex_cid=e...) and on both their SportCenter and ESPN twitters accounts, which each have about 1500 retweets and 1500 favorites:

Do a quick google search and there are plenty of sites featuring the video. Shout out to the runners, Taylor McLaughlin and Rai Benjamin for a great race, and to MileSplit commentators Nolan Jez (our VA webmaster) and Jimmy Stevenson. Stevenson's phrase "WHAMSAUCE" may be the next new viral word of 2015.

Curious about the origins of Whamsauce? We found it in Austin, Texas... Watch the video below to see!
