Ever wonder how Great Oak's cross country and track teams got so good? (Remember, this fall the boys won NXN and the girls were third.) Bill Walton may have found the answer. The famously eccentric basketball announcer and Hall of Fame player went to Temecula, California--where Great Oak High School is located--and rubbed dirt from the city all over himself, declaring that the dirt will "get you out of the funk you're in."
