Noah Lyles 20.18 200m, Third-Fastest Prep Ever

Noah Lyles ran 20.18 for 200m to become third-fastest high schooler in history at the USATF Junior National Championships.

On a weekend that reached record temperatures in Eugene, Ore., Lyles set the track on fire.

The time equaled the fifth all-time U.S. Junior time and seventh all-time World Junior time. It came just one day after he scorched 10.14

The rising senior at T.C. Williams High School in Va. had to run through Michael Norman to do it - the Vista Murrieta, Calif. rising senior entered with an unblemished spring racing resume and the sixth-fastest time in prep history (20.3) to his name.

Norman could not be too upset, as he took home a new personal best and U.S. No. 5 All-Time mark of 20.24.
