The Patriot girls (VA) anchored by sophomore Rachel McArthur and her 4:50 1600 meter split went from 5th to 1st place to earn a Penn Relays wheel in a US #4 victory of 11:51.85! Watch the race above on FloTrack!

The 2014 Virginia 6A state cross country champion and NXN All-American in McArthur continued the theme of a big night at Franklin Field for Virginia sophomores as her incredible anchor leg (besting her open 1600 PR of 4:53 by 3 seconds) followed a 1-2 finish just minutes prior in the girls 3K from two Virginia sophomores in Kate Murphy of Lake Braddock and Libby Davidson of E.C. Glass.
