Shout Out to Girls Sprints:

100 (2 sub 12s)

Have you ever felt what is feels like to run down "Hill"??? Well just ask "The Hill" of GA, which is Candace Hill. With times of 11.3, 23 lows & 52 high-53 low splits as a freshman, she looks to amaze not only the GA mile split viewers, but also to the rest of the High School track world. In addition, Cassondra Hall from Northside, Warner Robins is also another GA gal who looks to lower her PR this year of 11.6.

300 Meters

Most 400 runners will move down and run the 300 at this meet since it is a rare opportunity to run this race. Last years race was won by Westlake's Jenne' Nichols who ran 40 low in the 300. However; there are other 1 lap sprinters that are sure to challenge her & run below 40 seconds: Makenzie Dunmore of McEachern, Lauren Jackson of Dunwoody, & Westlake's "rookie" Kennedy Simon.

4x100 Relays (U.S.#2 vs U.S.#3)

After having a great season in 2014; McEachern's & Westlake's 4x1 relay squads both finished on the 2014 All American list for the 2nd year in a row. Both of these teams ran 45 seconds last year and don't be surprised if both of these teams dip into the 44 second barrier by the end of the year & dethrone California's powerhouse Long Beach Poly's #1 ranking. In addition, Westlake's "B team", Northside Warner Robins, Langston Hughes, & New Manchester will look to get in on "the piece of the pie" also.

The 4x4's (Three sub 3:50 teams)

With 3 teams going under 3:50 last year. It looks to be a great race between McEachearn, Westlake, & our southern neighbor Northside, Warner Robins.

Shout out to the Distance Crews (Dunwoody!)

Dunwoody looks to be the favorite in the scoring a lot of points in the distance events. They will be led by Lauren Jackson who is the favorite in the 800. In addition, her teammate Ansley Heavern is also a favorite in the 1600 & 3200. They also look to score BIG in the 4x800. On the other hand, McEachern will also have their say in the distance events as they look up to chop up Dunwoody's points. McEachern's Olapeju Togunde & 800 meter runner Bethany LeBlanc will help McEachern's score in the distance events.

Hurdles (Three 43 second runners)

The Hurdle events will be a loaded field featuring McEachern's Kristin Hall, Westlake's Kayla Stinson, & 10th grader Lauren Epps from Forest Park. The 100 hurdles will be led by 10th grader Courtney Jones of Maynard Jackson who ran 14.6 as a freeman last year.

Shout out to Field Events (U.S. #3)

Can you say Bria Epps up, 42 ft on deck, & 1 inch on hold! That is the mark that made Ms. Epps a US #3 ranked triple jumper. Lets just say that 46ft-3inches is a pretty far throw. Senior Noelle Parker will have the leading throw of 46 ft & Mekhaela Whitherspoon of Northside, Warner Robins has the leading throw in the discus with a throw of 116 ft.

In addittion, the long jump has 3 girls that have jumped 18ft & further (Westlake's Mia Phillips, Central High Ansley Long, & Forest Park's Krizma Goodson). One of the top freshman in the high jump from last year is Mount Zion's Imani Carmouche with a jump of 5-6.
