  • First to the Finish Line Invitational (IL) - The first of 3 major invitationals on the home for the Illinois state course at Detweiler Park. US #9 Jesse Reiser continues to move up the course's all-time list with a sizzling 14:20 three mile performance in the Class AAA race. Hinsdale Central girls upset US #6 ranked Naperville North by 69 points with impressive front running put 3 in the top 4 places behind race champion Alexa Haff.
  • Michigan State Spartan Invitational (MI) -  US #5 Audrey Belf (17:32) and teammate Rachel Dadamio (17:54) go 1-2 to lead squad to resounding team win for the US #17 Birmingham Seaholm girls by a margin of 81 points. The boys race was smoking fast with a top 3 of Ben Hill (15:06), Jesse Harsha (15:07), and Ryan Robinson (15:12). 2013 Foot Locker finalist Robinson led his Waterford Mott boys to first in the team standings.
  • Liberty Bell Invitational (CO) - Neither US ranked Fort Collins or Cherry Creek girls win at Liberty Bell, but instead unranked Monarch girls (but not for long) dominate both for team title. US #19 Zachary Alhamra of Pine Creek runs sub 15 for 5K in D2 boys race, while Fort Collins soph Lauren Gregory (US #11) runs nation's second fastest girls 5K of season in 17:16!
  • Forest Park Festival (MO) - The long awaited head to head race between Missouri's national superstars in US #9 Taylor Werner and US #19 Hannah Long finally happened.  They set a torrid early pace, which only Long was able to handle en route to a dominant 17:07 win over last year's meet champ Werner, who struggled to finish in second at 17:47. The St. Thomas Aquinas girls are just as fast at 5K as they showed last year at 4K winning at Forest Park. The Festus boys should now seize the top ranking in the state of Missouri after their win, while Dorrian Gordon (O'Fallon IL) improved 7 places from last year's race to finish first individually n 15:25.
  • VVS Invitational (NY) - The US #1 Fayetteville-Manlius girls and US #2 Fayeteville-Manlius boys ran up perfect scores in their first invite races of the season with the boys led by race champ Bryce Millar (15:44) having 4 of the top 5 fastest times in the meet. Samantha Levy (1st, 18:48) led the F-M girls who had 5 of the top 7 times on the day.
  • Section 3 Duals (NY) - In preparation for their first invitational of the season, Fayetteville-Manlius breezed through a dual meet.
  • Tracy Walters Invitational (WA) - US #5 Tanner Anderson bolts out to a 14:55 3 mile win in opener. No Anderson-Dressel matchup with Dressel out due to ACT testing. The Mountain View boys (125 pts) of Idaho pulled off a massive upset in defeating both US top 10 ranked squads from Washington in US #5 North Central (2nd, 146 pts) and Kamiakin (3rd, 157 pts), but the meet was scored through 10 runners. US #10 Kamiakin would have been the team winners if scored through 5 putting their top 4 among the top 10 places.
  • Herriman Invitational (UT) US #16 Lucy Biles and Herriman girls defend their hilly home course with sweep of individual and team titles, while US #3 ranked American Fork boys put 5 in top 12 for team title include race winner Zach Jacklin (16:05).
  • Mayo Invite (MN) - US #23 ranked Connor Olson rockets to a 15:21 5K win to lead US #4 Wayzata boys to another team title. US #3 Wayzata girls hold out majority of top 7, but #1 runner Anna French wins in 14:41.
  • Briarwood Invitational (PA) - The Malvern Prep boys got the best of the Cardinal O'Hara in a matchup of two of the best in PA by a margin of 31 points. US #14 Briana Gess from Haddonfield Memorial (NJ) won the girls race in a time of 18:40.
  • Knights Crossing Invitational (VA) - The US #10 Blacksburg girls put 5 in the top 11 with times ranging from 18:00 to 18:45 for decisive win. Libby Davidson (E.C. Glass VA soph) broke the meet record by 24 seconds with 17:37 5K PR. Jeremy Brown (15:35) led the Broughton (NC) boys to a second straight team title at Knights Crossing.
  • Cherokee Challenge (NJ) - Instead of racing each other in their homestate for supremacy of Pennsylvania, US #5 Pennsbury and US #16 Unionville faced each other in New Jersey. Unionville had the better front runners with top 2 times of day with junior race winner Kacie Breeding (11:15) & Olivia Young (11:17), but Pennsbury had great depth with 4 girls under 12 minutes. Unionville wins in the meet's scoring format. Luke Petela won the senior race for boys with day's fastest at 9:27 from the 4:14 miler.
  • Brown County Eagle Classic (IN) - Both nationally ranked Carmel teams run short-handed, but doesn't affect US #19 girls missing top 2 runners putting 5 in top 15 for team win in impressive display. Carmel's Ben Veatch wins boys race in 15:16, but Columbus North wins team title with US #16 Carmel missing 3 of top 4 fastest boys.
  • BYU Autumn Classic (UT) - Davis boys (US #11) and girls (US #16) seem to showing off on college courses. After fast times last week at Utah State University, another dominant sweep at BYU.  )
  • Boardman Spartan Invitational (OH) - US #19 ranked North Alleghany (PA) boys finish 4th in Ohio despite having 2 of top 3 finishers with Lake Uniontown winning over St. Ignatius (both Ohio teams) as their state continues to see shakes up on Who's #1. • Carrollton Invitational (GA)  - Florida's best in US #15 Sukhi Kholsa blows away the field on Georgia's challenging state course by 48 seconds with 15:53 5K. Not enough for his Chiles team to overtake Marietta (GA) for team title.
  • PIL 6A Preview (OR) - US #15 ranked Ella Donaghu begins her season with a 18:02 5K.
  • Bob Jenkins Coaches Classic (SC) - Riverside girls put 4 in the top 8. Logan Morris bounces back in a big way from last week with season best 18:20 5K win. Micah Williams takes off over 30 seconds from last race on South Carolina state course in breakthrough 15:28 5K PR.
  • Pflugerville Invitational (TX) - Madie Boreman with a sub 18 5K and freshmen teammate Helen Roddy roll to very quick times in Friday morning race.
  • The Mike Reynolds Time Trails (MT) - Bryn Morley is indeed a freshmen phenom. Starts high school career with a 17:33 5K win.
  • Arrowhead Invitational (WI) - Very fast times across the board from this Thursday invite in Wisconsin led by a US #5 time of 17:35 by Morgan Florsheim, while Arrowhead's Will Simmons wins on his home course in a swift time of 15:29.
