Stamatia Scarvelis of Dos Pueblos High School in California dominated the throws at the Arcadia Invitational with wins in both the invitational division of the shot put and discus including a huge US #1 mark of 172'7". A remarkable improvement of over 11 feet for the already national class thrower Scarvelis and knocking on the door of breaking into the US top 25 all-time in the event.
